EVRARD Jean-Jo

Jean-Jo EVARD is founder and manager of Darts-IP.

Darts-ip is the Global Intellectual Property (“IP”) Case Law Database. Enabling big and small law firms, IP consulting specialists and corporates around the world to find cases that matter and to gain IP insight. Darts-ip collects decisions daily and currently has over 710,000 cases from over 1,300 courts globally.

Jean-Jo was awarded “Best contribution to Trademark practices” by Worldleaders in 2004 for the creation of Darts-IP.

Previsouly, Jean-Jo was registered lawyer at Brussels and Paris Bars, where he focused on intellectual property, unfair competition and distribution law. Je joined NautaDutilh in 1994.

He graduated from the University of Louvain (UCL) in 1969.

He has authored and co-authored various articles and books on IP protection and enforcement. Together with Philippe Péters, he is the author of a (Belgian) treatise on Benelux trademark law.

He is a long-standing member of INTA and various international IP associations.
